Same Sex Marriage in Stardew Valley

It is possible that you do a same sex marriage in Stardew valley. The creators of game has left the option.

There are twelve eligible people (6 Bachelors & 6 Bachelorettes). You can marry one of them at a time. You can divorce them. You can remarry them after making them forget you  were married.

  • Your spouse will ask for adoption. If you agree, a child will arrive in middle of 14th night.
  • You can change children into doves permanently using the Dark Shrine of Selfishness at the Witch’s Hut, in exchange for a prismatic shard.

Black Desert Tamer Class Guide

Remember that class guides are a rough explanation of the class, designed to give you an idea of the class and what you should be aiming for. You should really adapt the guide and follow your own instincts to match your play-style! This guide also uses items from the Media patch and some items will not be in-game at EU/NA launch.

Pillars of Eternity Class Guide

When you first boot up Pillars of Eternity, you may be overwhelmed by the sheer number of options at the character creation screen. I know because I was there just a week ago.

During the past several days I have been neck deep in this special cRPG adventure (which we gave a stellar 4.5/5 stars in our review). I’ve learned a lot along the way, especially when it comes to classes. If I could go back and do it all again I would do things differently, namely on how I structured my main character. To prevent you from feeling the same way, I’ve put together a guide that will not only introduce you to each class and give you an idea of what they’re about, but how well they perform as your main character. (For six general tips for the game, check out Jeb Haught’s guide.)

It’s worth noting that in Pillars of Eternity you will run with a team of six characters. Your main character’s class choice doesn’t have any huge consequences other than the fact that you must use the character in your party. So the goal when choosing a main character class is to select something reliable and without major weaknesses. Ultimately, you can trade out your other teammates for better options, whether they be one of the eight pre-made companions or a custom one you can purchase at an Inn.

Let’s get started!

Brutes. Madmen. Berserkers. Though city-dwelling people often use the term “barbarian” with a dose of disrespect, these rural warriors are respected by their communities for their ferocity and fearsome presence on the battlefield. Barbarians have a special, almost religious role in some cultures, but in many places, the undisciplined, fearless style of the barbarian is simply how warriors conduct themselves.

Primary Role: Melee DPS

Consistent DPS

Can take some hits

Vulnerable when focused

Poor mobility

Companion Options: Custom only.

My Personal Rating: 4/5. An outstanding choice if you want to be a melee DPS.

Choose This Class If: You enjoy being in the thick of battle, but don’t want to tank with your main character. This class is able to stay in the thick of things provided it has backup, providing a reliable means of damage that doesn’t rely on positioning or per rest ability usage.

In every culture across Eora, there are chanters. Many historians consider chanters to be the most ancient workers of magic, their hallowed phrases stirring the collective memory of wayward souls around them, compelling them to generate magical effects in a kind of “reenactment.” In some societies, chanters form organized groups of storytellers and researchers, but in most parts of the world they are just a time-honored part of local folk traditions.

Primary Role: Support

Enhances team

Fun chant mechanic

Low damage throughput

Lack of feedback

Companion Options: Kana Rua.

My Personal Rating: 3/5. A great option, but you may end up wishing you were contributing more to battle with your main character.

Choose This Class If: You enjoy sitting behind the front line buffing teammates. Although your impact may not be directly felt, it will be a major component of the team’s success.

A recent discovery in the Eastern Reach, ciphers were once called “brîshalgwin” (“mind hunters”) by the Glanfathans. Ciphers have the ability to directly contact and manipulate another person’s soul and psyche, using an ally’s or enemy’s essence as the focus for their magic. Though most ciphers are still found in the Eastern Reach, practitioners of the techniques have spread throughout the known world. They are gaining acceptance over time, but are generally distrusted, especially by the uneducated.
Primary Role: Debuffer

  • Weakens enemies
  • Magic class without per rest cast dependency

  • Mild AoE capability
  • Requires micromanagement

Companion Options: Grieving Mother.

My Personal Rating: 5/5. This class complements your team of companions extremely well, and has no major weaknesses.

Choose This Class If: You enjoy debuffing enemies before and during battle, making it easier for your team to charge in and win.

image: Animists at heart, druids tap into the spiritual power that flows through the simple living things of Eora: plants, animals, and sometimes even living stone. While not necessarily religious, druids do have a reverence for the natural world and a keen interest in understanding its mysteries. In most cultures, druids are understood as a sort of primal magician, but among the Glanfathans, Naasitaqi, and many rural cultures, they may have high positions of influence and authority.

Primary Role: Ranged DPS/Support

  • Best AoE damage in the game
  • Extremely versatile

  • Per rest dependency
  • Difficult to play well

Companion Options: Hiravias.

My Personal Rating: 5/5. A powerful class that can wear many hats (literally and figuratively).

Choose This Class If: The Druid has been argued to be the most potent class in the game. It can dish heavy AoE damage, debuff enemies, and even support comrades. If pressured, it can shapeshift into one of several forms to deal melee damage and take hits.

Fighters form the front line of disciplined armies across the Eastern Reach. Though they are most commonly found in cultures with an organized martial structure, fighters can also be encountered as wandering mercenaries, bodyguards, and other types of sell-swords. The common element that unifies fighters is their heavy focus on endurance and melee defense.

Primary Role: Tank

  • Best tank in the game
  • Regenerates Endurance in battle

  • Low damage throughput
  • Requires careful positioning to protect teammates

Companion Options: Eder.

My Personal Rating: 4/5. This is an excellent choice. That said, Eder is probably the coolest character in the game, so you may want to hold off just to avoid a Fighter redundancy.

Choose This Class If: The Fighter best functions as the main tank of the party. It can acquire the attention of multiple enemies and take a beating, allowing teammates to reduce them to ash.

Monks belong to a variety of fighting orders that have sprung up in Ixamitl and the Eastern Reach over the past few centuries. While many monastic orders can trace their teachings to the Enduring Founder, Tletac, individual orders vary greatly in their focus, morality, and ethics. Common folk respect the incredible discipline of monks but see them as an odd, unpredictable bunch who may not be entirely sane. Even mercenaries and other adventurers aren’t sure what to make of them.

Primary Role: Melee DPS

  • Fun skills
  • Great control

  • Needs to be hit to function well
  • Is outclassed in every major category

Companion Options: Custom only.

My Personal Rating: 2/5. The monk isn’t a great class, and doesn’t fit any necessary role.

Choose This Class If: You enjoy charging into battle and controlling the battlefield from within.

Paladins are martial zealots, devoted to a god, a ruler, or even a way of life. They can be found in any culture where a fanatical group of like-minded individuals have formed a warrior society dedicated to advancing their cause. Among those aligned to their worldview, paladins are viewed with respect and admiration, if a bit of fear. Many paladins hold leadership positions in armies and mercenary companies, but in the heat of battle their fanaticism often overrules the chain of command—and common sense.

Primary Role: Melee Support/Off-Tank

  • Enhances teammates with buffs and heals
  • High survivability

  • Can’t tank as well as Fighter
  • Less damage throughput than other options

Companion Options: Pallegina.

My Personal Rating: 3/5. The Paladin is unique in that it has a predisposition to certain personality types, potentially making dialog exchanges more interesting. It’s also a nice component of any frontline.

Choose This Class If: You want to support teammates, but from melee range. You also enjoy committing to a certain demeanor when speaking to NPCs.

Priests are devotees of Eora’s deities and practitioners of religious magic. While all priests dedicate themselves to specific gods, priests’ power is actually derived from their personal beliefs. In contrast to most paladins, priests tend to focus on philosophy, teaching, and the relationship of religious organizations with common folk. The reception of priests in any given part of the world depends largely on how their god is revered – or reviled – by the people who live there.

Primary Role: Healer/Support

  • Essential component to a team
  • Keeps teammates alive

  • Low damage
  • Requires high micromanagement

Companion Options: Durance.

My Personal Rating: 3/5. You need a Priest on your team, and if you don’t like Durance, then you either need your main or a custom character to be one.

Choose This Class If: You prefer to keep teammates alive rather than slaughter enemies.

Rangers are warriors of the woodlands and masters of the hunt. Always partnered with soul-bonded animal companions, they can be found in wild spaces all over the world. As their lifestyles often tend toward independence and isolation, it is rare for rangers to become an integral part of a large fighting force, though they are often employed as scouts and guides.

Primary Role: Ranged DPS/Pet Class

  • Great control
  • Sustained DPS

  • Outclassed in damage throughput
  • Many condition-oriented skills

Companion Options: Sagani.

My Personal Rating: 1/5. The Ranger is considered the most underpowered class in the game. You really don’t want to be stuck with your main character as one unless you feel that you must.

Choose This Class If: You desire having a pet so much that you don’t mind using the worst class in the game.

Rogues are vicious killers, feared for the brutality of their attacks. They can be found as often in dark back alleys as the heart of battlefield skirmishes. Though unpredictable and undisciplined, rogues are commonly used as shock troops or as part of a surprise assault, their withering attacks breaking enemy ranks and morale. Rogues tend to congregate in larger numbers in cities where they can be steadily employed as mercenaries or hired muscle.

Primary Role: Melee DPS

  • Best damage in game
  • Strong disabling options

  • Requires careful positioning
  • Stealth mechanic is poor

Companion Options: Custom only.

My Personal Rating: 2/5. The Rogue is held back by the game’s poor stealth mechanics. It has outstanding damage, but you’ll spend most of your time trying to keep the Rogue out of harm’s way which makes it a less reliable option than the Barbarian.

Choose This Class If: You enjoy investing time positioning yourself carefully for huge damage.

The masters of academic magic, wizards are students of arcane traditions that stretch back beyond the boundaries of recorded history. Wizards are a highly organized group, often forming academies or guilds devoted to research and development in magical studies, and tend to favor environments where inquiry, experimentation, debate, and the dissemination of knowledge are encouraged. Many accomplished wizards eventually become known for their eccentricity, their egos, and their unquenchable interest in all things arcane and occult.

Primary Role: Ranged DPS

  • High AoE damage
  • Good control

  • Extremely per rest cast-dependent
  • Fragile

Companion Options: Aloth.

My Personal Rating: 2/5. The Wizard is capable of great damage when positioned well and recently rested. Its abilities not on per cast are underwhelming, making it a sub-par class in most battles.

Choose This Class If: You love magic and are willing to deal with being underpowered in most fights in order to bring heat in the ones that matter the most.

Stardew Valley Marriage

Marriage is a feature in Stardew Valley. There are six eligible bachelors and six eligible bachelorettes. Same-sex marriage is possible.

To marry someone, you will need to raise their friendship level to 10, as well as have given them a bouquet (which can be bought at Pierre’s store). You must acquire a Mermaid Pendant from the Old Mariner.Your house has to be upgraded at least once before he’ll let you purchase it. You can then give the pendant to the person you desire and they will prepare the wedding, asking for three days to do so.

When you marry, your spouse will move in with you, say new things, and help you out on the farm. Each marriage candidate has some unique dialogue, so your experience will be slightly different depending on who you marry. Also, some spouses who have important jobs will continue to go into town and work after marriage.

Your spouse will also lose their gift limit and gain two more hearts. If you get your spouse up to 13 hearts (one heart higher than the limit), they have a chance to give you a Stardrop.

Spouses can help with farm chores such as:

  • Watering crops
  • Feeding livestock
  • Making breakfast and dinner
  • Repairing fences

One breakfast is Pancakes, which gives you a +2 buff to Foraging for 12 minutes. Different breakfasts could be created in the future.

However, spouses can become unhappy if not treated well, which will result in undesirable actions, such as laying in bed all day and saying irritating things. If your spouse is happy, they may give birth to a child.

Your spouse may also become irritable whilst walking through a house that has too many decorations, indicating that their walking pattern is being blocked.

Spousal happiness and behavior is presently erratic. There were probably attempts to make each different based on personalities and may still have yet to be finalized. All the player can do presently is talk to them until you reach a kiss/embrace motion each day. You may be able to talk to them more later in the day but the embrace/kiss gesture only generates one heart a day, implying the player has made their spouse happy.

When your partner is happy, you may have children with them.

  • If you are in an opposite-sex couple, your partner might ask you if you want to have children. If you say yes, you will have a child 14 days later.
  • If you are in a same-sex couple, your partner might ask you if you want to adopt a child. If you say yes, a baby will arrive in the middle of the night 14 days later.
  • You must have a farmhouse upgraded at least twice (this is when your house gets a crib) before your partner might suggest having children.
  • Refusing to have children doesn’t affect the relationship in any way. (Unconfirmed)
  • You can change children into doves permanently using the Dark Shrine of Selfishness at the Witch’s Hut, in exchange for a prismatic shard.

After getting married, you may divorce your partner for 50,000g at Mayor Lewis’s house. This action may be cancelled before 10 PM (when Lewis locks his door). After divorce, your partner’s “title” will now say (ex). You cannot marry this person again, unless you make them forget they ever were married to you, using the Dark Shrine of Memory which is found in the Witch’s Hut. If you have had any children, they will stay with you at the farmhouse.

When you give another bachelor or bachelorette a gift, your current partner may get jealous. This doesn’t affect anything. (Unconfirmed)

You have to free Stockton’s daughter first and talk to Dan afterwards. When finish he’ll give you the reward. Be sure not to make dialog choices while you talk to him. Infinite XP (Exploit)

Locate a terminal near a safe. You can open the safe by using your lock picking ability. Then you can enter the terminal and close the safe, so that you can pick its lock once more. You can repeat this process as often as you like for easy XP. It helps also if your INT rating is high, so you gain levels more quickly.

Infinite XP (Exploit)

Locate a terminal near a safe. You can open the safe by using your lock picking ability. Then you can enter the terminal and close the safe, so that you can pick its lock once more. Gatling Laser Exploit

Duplicate Items and Perk Points (Exploit)

Make sure you acquire the “You Are Special” book, located in the house where you start, under the desk in Shaun’s room. You also need a companion. Ideally, that companion is Dogmeat. Find a flat area and drop the item/book, then send Dogmeat a few feet away. Tell him to fetch the dropped item/book, and wait for him to bow his head. Pick up the item precisely as he does, and if you timed it properly, you’ll have one in your inventory and he will also drop one. Using this technique, you can quickly acquire items and perk points as needed.

Console Codes of Fallout 4

Unlimited S.P.E.C.I.A.L. in Fallout 4

First, get Dog (or some other companion) and go back to Sanctuary. Get the “You’re Special” book under the crib and pick it up and use it. Now that it’s in your inventory, drop it back on the ground and have your dog/companion pick it up, BUT, just before they pick it up, you need to quickly pick it up.
If you can do it correctly he will drop the item and it will still be in your inventory. Pick up the copy Dog dropped and you should have 2 “You’re Special” books. You can drop both on the ground and one should now activate again.
You can also get more than just two special items. You can do that by:
Drop special book and clone it.
Drop both books and pick up.
Drop 1 book and clone it.
Drop all books then pick up.
Repeat step 3 and 4 until desired stats are reached.

Easy Cryogun in Fallout 4

You can find the Cryogun in a case before you leave Vault 111. Typically, you’ll need the Master level Locksmith skill if you want to open it. However, you can find Dogmeat (your canine pal) and bring him near the case. Use the Fetch command and select the Item option. He’ll grab the gun for you and drop it in front of you so you can add it to your inventory. He also packs ammo, because he’s helpful like that.

Infinite Bartering with Arturo (Exploit) in Fallout 4

You can sell unlimited items to Arturo in Diamond City, which makes extremely expensive items available to you early in the campaign.
Start by defeating enemies and looting areas until you have a few hundred caps in your possession. Then head to Diamond City and speak with Arturo. Look at his wares, and indicate your wish to purchase all of his ammo of a particular type but do not finalize the deal. Instead, access your items and sell a single unit of the ammo you just bought from him. Then, sell any remainder of that same ammo type. There is a game bug that keeps a single unit of that ammo in your inventory, which you can sell to him continuously.
Though you can’t use this glitch to obtain more caps than Arturo has on hand, you can repeatedly sell him glitched ammo to build up your resources. It’s possible to use the trick with any type of ammo Arturo sells, as long as you have the initial caps required (though it can take some time and a lot of button presses). If you do everything properly, you can obtain all kinds of powerful equipment. However, keep in mind that the glitch is only effective when dealing with Arturo.

Surviving Great Falls

If you’ve fallen from a terrible height, normally that would be the end of you. However, you can save your game just before you hit the ground, then load your save and you will land safely. Phew!

Roller Coaster Tycoon 4 Mobile: Cheats and Tips

If you want to be a successful theme park mogul you’ll want to follow these Roller Coaster Tycoon 4 Mobile cheats and tips. You can become the boss of your very own theme park in the game Roller Coaster Tycoon 4 Mobile. But it’s not going to be as easy as taking the blue prints of your dream roller coaster form your imagination and making it a reality. You’ll have to start from the bottom and work your way up to make your park a screaming success. With these money making, coaster building, and guest pleasing tips and cheats you can fast track your way to the top.

Here are 9 great tips and cheats to help you along your way to creating a magnificent and profitable theme park.

9. Spend Your Tickets Wisely

Gameplay Screenshot
Spend Tickets Wisely

Tickets are the premium in game currency that can be used to rush build attractions and to build more exciting roller coasters. Each new park owner is given 40 free tickets; tickets can also be earned by completing quests. The worst thing that you can do early on in the game is spend your tickets to rush the construction of new attractions. Save tickets by waiting for construction to finish. This way you’ll have more tickets to create amazing roller coasters (which can be expensive) that will increase your park’s buzz, which equals more visitors, which equals hella cash.

8. Make Use of Park Space

Your park might seem pretty small when you start out and want to build all of the great rides and attractions at your disposal; but there’s more space than it might seem. You can move attractions around after you build them at no cost – so experiment with where you place things and use up every square of space. Expanding the park by buying new land is something that you’ll inevitably need to do to build really sick coasters, but early on in the game it’s simply a waste of tickets.

7. Restaurants and Hotels Are Cash Cows

The easiest way to make money in Roller Coaster Tycoon 4 Mobile is from restaurants and hotels. Not only do restaurants and hotels not take up a lot of space, but no matter how many you build they’ll just keep generating income. You don’t have to wait until the cash register is full to collect income from them either. Simply click on a restaurant or hotel at any time and collect the cash.

The best Roller Coaster Tycoon 4 Mobile Money cheat is to pay attention to which food booth is making the most money the quickest and build more of it. Then build and upgrade hotels to increase your park capacity. This will allow more guests to stay in your park meaning more hungry peeps.

6. Play the Food Rush Mini Game

FoodRush mini game
FoodRush mini game

A great Roller Coaster Tycoon 4 Mobile tip that some players neglect is to build the Food Rush mini game. If you haven’t already, go to Build > Specials > Food Rush and plot the food truck anywhere for a great mini game. The game is pretty easy to play; build hamburgers based on the ones on the menu as quickly as possible by tapping the ingredients in the same order. The faster you make burgers, the more cash and XP you earn.

It’s a smart idea to play Food Rush while you’re waiting to collect cash or for rides to finish construction. You can play the mini-game as much as you want, so go nuts!

5. Build Custom Roller Coasters

Custom Roller Coaster
Build Custom Roller Coasters

Instead of building pre-designed roller coasters (which can be pretty expensive) use your creativity to build something unique. Building custom roller coasters is not only cheaper, but it’s a great way to make the most of the space in your park – and it’s fun to do! While building a coaster you’ll notice a rating in the bottom right corner. The higher the rating, the more your guests will enjoy it which will create more buzz.

4. Be a Tree Hugger

It’s a bit a nuisance, but guests in Roller Coaster Tycoon 4 Mobile really seem to enjoy looking at trees. Selling trees might seem like a good idea to create more space and earn a little bit of cash, but it’s actually better to keep trees around. Move the trees to a suitable location to keep your guests happy. If you delete trees you’ll notice the guests happiness rating go down, which should make you sad as well.

3. Keep Your Park’s Buzz Up

Always make sure that your park buzz is on the rise. The easiest way to do this is by building roller coasters – but if you’re strapped for cash, building a new roller coaster might not be an option. Other ways of increasing your park buzz include:

  • Upgrading old rides. Guests get bored of rides once they get old and aren’t cool anymore. Trick them into thinking a ride is cool again by upgrading it.
  • Repair broken attractions. Old run down broken attractions are simply not cool and will bring your park’s buzz down. Repair broken rides as quickly as possible to keep your buzz from going down.
  • Grant your visitor’s requests. From time to time “peeps” will ask you to build certain things. They’ll walk around your park with tiny thought bubbles that indicate what they want from you. Their wish should be your command if you want to keep your park’s buzz going up.

2. Collect Special Deliveries

With so much excitement happening in your theme park you might forget about the vast cement wasteland that is your parking lot. Sometimes trucks will drop off special deliveries in the parking lot that you can tap to collect. The deliveries are usually park decorations – which your guests love.

1. Connect with Friend Codes for Free Rewards

Friend Connect Screen
Friend Connect

It might annoy the crap out of your friends, but if you’re serious about building a successful theme park try connecting with Facebook friends for rewards. Chances are other people you know are already playing. So visit the gift centre to send gifts their way and they’ll do the same for you.

Best Roller Coaster Tycoon Game in the World

RollerCoaster Tycoon is a construction and management simulation video series that simulates amusement park management. Developed by Chris Sawyer Productions and published by Hasbro Interactive, the first version of the game was released for Microsoft Windows in 1999 and was later ported to the Xbox by Infogrames in 2003. There are many confusions regarding the Best Roller Coaster Tycoon game available. This post intends to clear the myths around the Best Roller Coaster Tycoon game. Here we will compare the Roller Coaster Tycoon games and decide on the Best Roller Coaster Tycoon game.

Go to bottom to find the conclusion. TL;DR.

Roller Coaster Tycoon 1 (RCT1)

RollerCoaster Tycoon 1 received two expansion packs: Added Attractions (released in the US as Corkscrew Follies) in 1999, and Loopy Landscapes in 2000. Two special editions were released: RollerCoaster Tycoon Gold/Totally Roller Coaster in 2002, which contained the original game, Added Attractions/Corkscrew Follies, and Loopy Landscapes; and RollerCoaster Tycoon Deluxe in 2003, which contained the content in Gold plus more designs for the different customizable rides.

VERDICT: It is more simple in design and has more basic functionality. The scenarios can only be unlocked by finishing previous scenarios. It is the very best game experience if you want to progress in a trendy fashion.

Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 (RCT2)

RollerCoaster Tycoon 2 tasks players with managing amusement parks in different scenarios with the goal of having them succeed in different ways. The game returns to isometric projection which debuted with the predecessor, allowing for a large degree of compatibility. Various attractions, including transport rides, gentle rides, thrill rides, roller coasters, water rides, and shops or stalls, can be added to the parks as well as landscaping and decorations. The player satisfies the needs of the visitors by building food stalls, drink stands, bathrooms, and souvenir shops as well as facilities and services, such as ATMs (known as “cash machines” in-game) and information kiosks. Players must balance their budget in their expenses and income while doing this.

One notable difference from RollerCoaster Tycoon is a more robust system for building structures, in which one can lay each piece of wall and roof individually. The game provides greater flexibility by allowing pieces of scenery, rides, and other structures to be placed at varying heights above and below ground. The mechanics in the predecessor made custom building construction less efficient, and rides and shops were previously unable to be built at varying elevations; in that game, only rides that had tracks could be built underground, since the first section of any ride had to be placed above ground. Many of the rides from the original RollerCoaster Tycoon have been modified and/or renamed, one example being “Scrambled Eggs” renaming to “Twist“. Some old ride designs have been merged with others, such as the “The Wooden Twister Coaster” being included in the “The Wooden Roller Coaster“.

User-created scenery items make a debut in this title. The ‘bulldozer’ allows the player to remove multiple pieces of scenery instead of only one piece at a time. A scenario editor is introduced, which allows players to create their own scenarios, creating the landscape, setting objectives, and selecting available rides and scenery. Players can make and test their own roller coasters to save them for use in other levels with the Roller Coaster Designer, and the game includes a licensed promotion by Six Flags to include their own content and scenarios based on five of their amusement park branches (which are Magic Mountain, Great Adventure, and Over Texas. Walibi Holland and Walibi Belgium were also Six Flags parks during development, and thusly are included here). Many popular rides in Six Flags amusement parks can be used in other scenarios, but are locked from editing. The game also contains a variety of new themes and music for attractions. Players can track and rename guests by clicking on them, and their AI is improved, allowing for the creation of paved areas that would originally confuse park guests in the predecessor game.

VERDICT: The most open, made to build! Custom scenery, imported scenarios, better animation and generally regarded as the most diverse. They give you the option to just build, no money or park restrictions if you so choose.

Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 (RCT3)

Like the previous games in the series, RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 is a strategy and simulation game in which players manage all aspects of an amusement park by building or removing rides, scenery and amenities, placing shops and facilities, adjusting the park’s finances, hiring staff, and keeping the park visitors, known as “peeps”, happy. RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 features two main game modes. The career mode features scenarios where players must accomplish goals, such as impressing a visiting celebrity or attaining a certain park rating. Each scenario has three levels of objectives, which are ranked as Apprentice, Entrepreneur, and Tycoon; the higher the level, the more challenging the goal is to complete. A third of the scenarios are playable from the start, with the rest unlocked when the player completes the objectives at each level. The second mode of play is the sandbox mode. Players are given a large, empty plot of land and unlimited funds with which to build their own custom parks. However, the land given in this mode is limited as it cannot be expanded.

RollerCoaster Tycoon 3: Gameplay

The CoasterCam feature in action.

RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 introduces gameplay features in the series such as the CoasterCam, which allows players to “ride” roller coasters and other rides, and the MixMaster, which allows the player to coordinate firework shows and time them to in-game music. Unlike the two previous versions of the game, RollerCoaster Tycoon and RollerCoaster Tycoon 2, the guests, called “peeps”, arrive in groups and show variation in gender and age, including children, teenagers and adults. A day/night cycle changes the demographics of the park’s peeps; rides at night appeal to teenagers, while the daytime attracts families with children. Peeps can be harmed and injured by crashing vehicles, but will never die as they did in the previous titles, and if placed in water they will swim out. When cars derail from the tracks, they explode after a short period, whereas in the older games, they exploded on contact. Furthermore, an added feature was added in which, after a cheat code was entered, people could utilize the Peep Cam from which they could see the park through a peeps’ eyes.Parks now have opening and closing times, and the time of day is displayed. Scenery is divided into themes to customize parks, with western-, spooky-, science fiction-, prehistoric-, tropic (Paradise Island)- atlantis- and adventure-themed pieces. Another feature is the ability to import coasters from previous games in the series into RollerCoaster Tycoon 3. The game uses full 3D graphics instead of the isometric viewpoint of the previous games; this means that players can rotate and zoom the view of the park to any degree. However, there is an option to fix the camera’s rotation to a preset angle, as in the previous games. 3D land shaping is also available for creating mountains and hills inside the park, as well as the ability to change portions of the land into water.

VERDICT: First entry into 3D, but theres a steep learning curve when it comes to landscaping. Even more options for custom scenery and custom scenarios. EDIT: You can ride the rides! Forgot about that! Really cool, but not as cool as it sounded originally.

I personally prefer to the nostalgia of the first version. It has awesome scenarios and the compulsory nature to unlock them as you progress. In the second RCT2 it gives them, unlocked already.  The third one features a different art style, isometric view, and a different UI. The scenarios are mostly weak to be played by a hardcore RCT player.

The online community of RCT has made the recreations of RCT 1 for RCT 2, therefore you can better try RCT 2 with the flexibility and the handy nature of the game.

RCT 3, can let you import scenarios from version 1 and two, but there are issues with clipping on terrains, and there are few things that need to be adjusted.

Best Roller Coaster Tycoon Game is RCT 2
